Bono sera el primer invitado en el nuevo show que tendra Dave Stewart (Eurhytmics) en HBO, en la que entrevistara a musicos acerca de su trabajo.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – U2 frontman Bono has signed on as the first guest on musician/producer David A. Stewart’s upcoming music-themed interview show for HBO.

Described as “musicians on musicians,” the show will feature the Eurythmics member interviewing fellow artists about their craft. One of the show’s producers, Jimmy Iovine, runs U2′s Interscope Records label.

The pay cable network has ordered six half-hour episodes of the show to air early next year. continuar

Monday, September 11th

Billy Joe Armstrong, Tré Cool, Mike Dirnt, and assorted Green Day crew members were in the studio early this morning. The plan had been for the two bands to sit down with Rick Rubin to discuss how the week would pan out. Not a long meeting as it turned out. √´They just went straight into the studio and started playing,√≠ said Joe O√≠Herlihy. √´Quite different bands but what they have in common is this amazing musical energy.√≠ continuar

Hoy hace 30 años, el 25 de Septiembre de 1976, un grupo de jovenes se reunieron en la cocina de Larry Mullen Jr. respondiendo a la solicitud que este habia colocado en el pizarron de avisos de la escuela Mount Temple en Dublin, Irlanda.

Entre los asistentes se encontraban Paul Hewson, Dave Evans, y Adam Clayton. El resto es historia.
